Pain and even happiness are temporary. Most importantly pain is temporary. We have to find happiness, even if it is hard. I realized even people who consider themselves "stronger" face challenges no matter how big or small. So whenever I feel so alone and hard on myself I think about that. Although, I think those who consider themselves as strong people don't even consider the fact the face challenges too themselves.
Try to read a book called "Who Moved My Cheese by Spencer Johnson."
Only around 38 pages I think, you could read in a single sit. Have a look, might help.
my recommendation will be to let the problems to sink in. there is no point in running away from your problems- we all have done it enough. it just hit us hard later. it drains us emotionally. so at times even than finding solution to the problem one can just feel everything and then overcome the problem.
The problems won't go away, they'll keep piling up and becoming more complex and hurtful. It's really more productive to find a solution. What many people miss is that solutions aren't always found outside, eg in the external world. It might seem that the problem is brought to you by other people or circumstances, and therefore your solution should be focusing on these other people and circumstances. Thus we get busy fighting others and trying to change the world.
Yet our problems with people and the world are mostly a reflection of our own beliefs, thoughts, emotions and behavior. It's much more effective to start overcoming these, and then - with time - we start seeing a completely different world, different - better - people and more positive opportunities.
Sometimes it's just easier to forget. When faced with a problem we generally look for an easy way out and we can't find one, we just stop. But those don't do us any good. You get up the next morning and live the same day, the problem won't just go away.
