Through Public Relations and Marketing have different functions and roles in a company's growth, public relations play a vital role among them. Marketing is related to the advancement of business through more and more sales of either product or services, and PR is an activity to develop a strong relationship between the company and the public. Here you can study how public relations play a role in marketing.

1. Public relations may be online strategies like digital marketing, Social Media Marketing, SEO, Content marketing,  viral marketing, etc. Offline strategies include various media sources like newspapers, magazines, TV ads, radio broadcasting, etc. All these mediums are necessary to make people reach your business products or services. As you get more clients or customers, your marketing strategy gets improved. Thus, PR is directly related to marketing.

2. Your product or service can only get a response when people get to know about its benefit. For this, you need to share it with your clients. Here lies the role of content marketing through blogs, articles or videos which can be further shared through social media platforms. PR is again playing a role in marketing. 

3. PR can help you in assuming a result or outcome of your business marketing through revenue generation. Ads or contents which are shared through the social media business pages generate maximum revenues when it reaches the maximum number of people. This means people like your product or service details. As a result, when it gets launched practically, it will get a positive response.

4. If you are somehow not following any content marketing strategy, you can improve your SEO ranking in search engines like Google, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo or Bing through PR. In business marketing, SEO plays a vital role as a digital marketing strategy. Providing your brand links through certain business pages or groups may also help in SEO improvement. 

5. Marketing needs a lot of communication among various business organizations, clients, customers, etc. and again Public Relations play a vital role in this point. PR help in developing certain strategies which help in modifying the communication system among business groups, clients, customers, etc. and assist the company in achieving its goal
