The learning capabilities of all the students are not equal. Some are fast learners while others take a longer time to understand the same fact. 

For such slow but steady learners, the academic plan provides a thurst to them. The academic plan is a chart or a table with some pre-defined goals and targets which are formulated in careful consideration of that particular student’s learning capabilities.

Choosing Your Goals 

Firstly, you need to select your goals. One thing you need to keep in mind is that all your goals must be realistic and achievable.  After this, you need to choose the study modules which includes textbook chapters, chapter notes, chapter tests, assignments and any such important documents covered at school/college.

Specifying Date and Time based on the set goals

• After selecting the study modules, now you need to specify the date and time duration for completing those specific modules.

• You need to keep a day in reserve for studying the old chapter notes and for preparing any new notes.

• Keep at least a day for all sorts of REVISION purpose.

Specifying Steps

Now when you have created your time table, you need to develop steps for achieving the set goals based on your customized study routine.

• Start by collecting all the necessary study materials that you’ll be required for achieving your set targets.

• Secondly, assign chapters for everyday completion, i.e., divide the sections among the study days. 

• Next step involves arranging the notes according to their respective chapters. If you work in a properly organized manner, the chances of errors will be minimal.

• While preparing any chapter, keep a copy alongside for writing the prime facts in a list format along with page number and book name. This will help to revise the critical events the night before exams quickly.
