Hospitality and Tourism is a highly competitive field. Usually, people think it’s a like a vacation where they can enjoy their life and but that’s not the actual case as to achieve success in any field one needs to put hard work and lots of effort to be right in that field. One will achieve success only if he/she has a personal interest in that field. Having a degree gives a proof that he has some specialized knowledge and skills in that field.  If someone has a degree in this field, he/she has the following opportunities-

• Hotel Manager – For a person going on a holiday, the place where he is going to stay is the most important thing. It can be a hotel, resort or a motel. Being one of the staff members, it is his/her duty to be sure that guest gets top quality services. Otherwise, no one is going to visit that hotel again. One needs to have excellent communication skills as a manager of a hotel. 
• Travel Attendant – A person having a proper degree can be among the tourist management graduates who are employed in leadership positions, operation management or a logistics in either airline travel sector or luxury cruise sector. These two sectors offer a variety of good jobs with the right amount of salary package. They have been sure that the people feel comfortable and safe while traveling.
• Travel Counselor – By having a degree in this field, one can see even advice people reading their holiday plans and can earn the right amount of money. A counselor advises different travel destinations and about different offers that will be beneficial for them. One can be a travel agent, a booking agent, tour guide or a tourist information center representative. 

        To achieve success in this field one needs to be extrovert and should be useful in making relations with different people as it involves different people from various regions, having different language and different culture as well. Moreover, it is one of the fastest growing sectors which have a good scope for future generations.
