Several types of strategic business models are.
1. Business To Consumer (B2C) model
This model of E-commerce deals with the services of buying and selling between the business companies and the consumers. The B2C model got started in the year 1995 and is ruling over the overall online business marketing. The selling of the products is done to the customers individually. The basic model of this model is done between the marketers and the retailers, and the customers are allowed to buy and sell their products to other users of the internet.
2. Business To Business ( B2B) model
The B2B model involves the buying and selling of products among various business organizations. More than trillions of business organizations use the B2B business model to grow their sales. The manufacturer and the whole seller are involved in this model, and the remaining components or products of this model are the raw materials, subparts, etc. The B2B model is significant for the quick import and export of the product services, encouraging the online business, etc.
3. Consumer To Consumer ( C2C) model
This type of E-commerce model is specially designed for customers who are involved in online business apps and willing to sell or buy products from other customers. Here there is no direct involvement of the business organizations. C2C business model can also be called online auction where a product is sold to a party, and afterward, the same product is sold in a higher amount to another party.
4. Peer To Peer ( P2P)model
In the P2P E-commerce model, communication takes place among the customers who have the same capabilities to buy or sell a product by initiating a communication session. The users of this model use the internet where each peer-level can connect with the other one.
5. Mobile Commerce model
Here the buying and selling are done through the use of mobile devices and the transactions are effortless. Examples of mobile commerce models are mobile ticketing, content purchase, and delivery, information services, location-based services, mobile storefront, mobile auctions, brokerage, etc.
