When we talk to food experts or dietician for getting an idea about the best food that we should take or include in our diet we are given a list of several items having extraordinary benefits in our life. But do you know that some of the names included in the list are overrated or overpraised and are not that effective as said by experts? We picked a few of those food items to prepare the list of most overrated and over-praised food.
Soup: Why it is called a superfood? No one knows exactly the reason. Can you imagine someone ordering soup just in place of any other dish in the restaurant? No, not at all and the reason is very simple it’s just a watery food not sufficient to fulfill your hunger.
Lobsters: Lobsters are just scavengers. They live eating the dead and decomposed things in the water. We can call them the member of the cockroach family living in the sea or ocean water. Will you love to mix some clarified butter in the sea cockroaches for your dinner or lunch?
Oysters: You can’t eat boiled oysters alone… do you? It needs to be flavored with some other edible items to eat. So what’s the point of eating something which doesn’t have its own flavor.
Iceberg lettuce: Don’t you think it is too much overrated? The fact is that it is used in salad dressing and in maximum cases the nutritional contents of the salads are always incorrectly assessed. It's nutrient element is much below the nutrition offered by other vegetables.
Ketchup: It's our habit to take ketchup when we order a burger, French fries, sandwich or other similar things. Does it add any extra flavor to the food we eat… well at least for me it’s No and I believe it rather kills the original taste of the food.
