What are the five components of wellness?

Wellness or health is responsible for the proper functioning of a human body so that a person can perform all the regular activities correctly. A person who is fit and healthy internally can lead an active life full of happiness and wealth. Have you ever thought when a person could be called healthy and well?

Wellness depends on the proper functioning of all your body organs. There are five components of wellness;

1. Physical wellness: 

The first and most important component of wellness is physical wellness. Physical wellness refers to the proper functioning of all your body organs so that you can actively perform your regular activities. The condition of your cardiovascular system, muscles, and body composition are highly responsible for your body flexibility. The more your body remains flexible, the more you can be fit physically.

2. Mental wellness:

For the proper functioning of your life, you need to be mentally fit too. A person who involves in various activities thinks intellectually and explore a lot to learn and support his or her family and friends are considered as mentally fit.

3. Emotional wellness:

Life can be full of stress and pressure. But, a person cannot cope up with these situations suffer from depression, anxiety, inferiorities, and negative thoughts. Also, they are not considered as emotionally fit.

4. Social wellness:

Man is a social animal. Interactions with different people of society, sharing ideas, spending quality times with friends, traveling with people, etc. have high impacts on your wellness. This state of wellness is called social welfare.

5. Spiritual wellness:

Spiritual wellness refers to the practices followed by a person for his spiritual growth and maturity. Spirituality helps a person to understand the proper and deeper meaning of life through which he can learn to think positively. Spiritual disciplines contain practices like meditation, worship, fasting, reading, traveling, etc.
