What are the benefits of multi channel marketing?

Marketing through email, mobile, social media, websites, brick-and-mortar stores, direct mail, and other ways are today's trend of marketing. It comes into the category of multi-channel marketing and this type of marketing allows customers to purchase the products or services from the company's platform easily. Today, there are multiple options available for marketing of products. 

Advantages of Multi-Channel Customer Marketing:

1. To gain more response from the audience and provide a lift to campaigns, channels use different mediums such as Facebook, mobile push notifications, email, text messages, and phone calls. These mediums are necessary as different people prefer different channels.

2. Different message type’s work for different channels as it is not necessary that one message type work same for the target audience. For instance, at the time of any urgency and for the shorter message, SMS or text messages work faster and are able to reach faster. For comparatively longer message, emails are the best choice. Email works best where the visual designs are important to mention. For making a social connection, Facebook is best. It helps to easily make the post viral and to reach to more people. 

3. There are two types of information which the human brain is connected to. One type of information is what we need to notice and need to keep it and the other type is what we don't need to retain or need to discard as soon as we get to know that information. This ability of the brain requires different channels to attract the audiences' attention. By default, our brains don't pay much attention to most marketing messages so it ignores these type of messages mostly. So, repetition of a message via different channels is quite important.

4. Multiple channels are used to complement and support each other to generate more response from the audience but it is seen that the whole is worth more as compared to some of its parts sometimes. And sometimes individual campaigns are able to generate better results than expected. For instance, if a company use push notification for marketing but it gets failed to generate expected response from the audience then another channel can be used to reinforce the message.

5. One needs to research and perform a trial with all type of marketing channels so that they can stand firmly against their competitor. The prior research helps to maintain the product when the competitor launches his own marketing strategy. Research allows knowing the company in advance that which type of campaign and ads will give them better results. Also, an optimized campaign by multi-channels helps to restrict the competitor's pop-ups and allow theirs. 

6. Big brands hardly need any introduction in the market. They are present everywhere and this is the advantage of being a big brand. To stay sustainable in the market, multiple marketing channels are the most important thing. This will definitely give a visible rise in the response of the audience.

These are the benefits of multi-channel marketing. In the marketing sphere, multiple marketing channels are the only way to uplift the business and make it sustainable.
