Never give up without a fight

The last amendment of the constitution was made a generation ago. Since then a lot of things have changed, but we are still following the same constitution. Given the present scenario, the constitution of the country needs a change. In other words, it needs to be improved based on the current changes in the country. But sadly, the lawmakers of the country hardly see, to be interested in making any changes. This is one of the main reasons for the suffering of the country and its people.

How would you amend the constitution?

This is a question that can be better answered by lawmakers, experts, and academics. However, here are some improvements that we think should be introduced to the constitution of the country. This is to be done for the betterment of the people.

The constitution is created for the people and not the other way round. Therefore, making changes or amendments to the constitution should be taken seriously. India as a country is still lacking behind many of the top countries of the world, and some portion of the credits goes to the Indian constitution and the way the country works.

Amending the constitution doesn’t mean that our present constitution is wrong. The main point here is to make it better so that it can cope with the changing times. If people are changing so should be the constitution. Our current constitution was created by our forefathers during the time of Independence. Since then no major changes have been incorporated to the constitution. Considering the present situation of the country, it wouldn’t be wrong to say that we should take our constitution a bit more seriously.

Many of the lawmakers and the leaders in the past have taken the effort to make the constitution better. But the problem with this country is that there are laws, but the implementation of the same is problematic. This is where we need improvement. A country as huge as India can only be run properly when its people are happy. This can be only achieved if the lawmakers are true to the people. The current leaders of our country need to pay more attention to its people rather than focusing on their selfish gains.

To conclude, it can be said that many of the laws especially the ones related to children and women need to be revised. Also, they should be implemented with the full effect to benefit the people.
