You have to figure out the kind of camera that you want to use. Will it be a DSLR or a mirrorless model? There are quite a few models in cameras available in the market. Review their features carefully and decide on the right camera based on your interest.
There is no definitive conclusion on what kind of lens a beginner should use, whether it should be a prime one or a zoom one. Whatever be the model you buy, ensure that you have lens cloth to keep it clean and a UV filter as well.
Keep taking photos
Experience and expertise come with practice. So we would say you take your camera wherever you go. You never know when you will find an inspiring photo and when you would get a good shot. You wouldn’t want to regret not taking the camera at that time. Also, try incorporating the techniques you have learned in your photos so that you get to practice.
