Be stronger than your excuses

Digital marketing strategies have become popular and smarter ways to grow your business, and when it comes to digital marketing, Social Media like Facebook plays a significant role. People make the use of Facebook for creating various events. Through these events, you can host lots of information, details, dates, what is going to be presented, who are attending, guests capacity, etc. Facebook is the best media for hosting events in recent days. If you are still not aware of how to advertise your event on Facebook, then here are some tips for you.

1. The first important point you need to remember while hosting an event on Facebook is to choose a very touchy and unique title or name for an event. The name of the event attracts the visitors first to look into the details.

2. Along with a touchy title or name, be very selective about the cover picture which equally attracts the visitors. Make sure that the cover image and the title binds well together.

3. While writing the details pay attention towards some points very minutely like, date of the event, circumstances, chief guests, entry fees, reasons for the event, location with direction, etc.

4. If you feel that some ads can help your competition to get focus, then try to keep some paid ads but not much. More ads spoil the moods of the visitors to go through the event details.

5. Your event may be a Conference or a Meet-up or a Festival or a Concert. Just select the particular category to which your event belongs to.

6. You can also take help from Facebook Ads Manager which will provide you with the support to create an ad and promote your event. Select the engagement section and the objective for the campaign. This method is a paid method but equally very efficient and easy to earn.

7. Notifications can be handy, but at the same time, it may prove to be quiet annoying too. People get to know about the events through notifications but make sure it does not get too much repetitive and annoying. Nobody likes to read the same notifications all the time.

8. You can also post and share your events through emails, apps and other social media. These will help you to get your events published among more and more number of people.

It's very simple just set up a page and you'll instantly be offered the chance to "Boost page" or "Boost post". You only need to enter the settings and add your card details, wait for the ad to be reviewed, and your it will go live!

Successful advertising on Facebook requires a lot more than this... it takes time, skill, planning and attention to details. The fundamental idea is that you have to try various iterations of an ad and track results to work out how to optimize your adverts, i.e. how to get the most sales from the lease input.

It’s also important to remember that Facebook advertising has a bidding system at its core which means that great results at small scales cannot always be extrapolated in a predictable way…but more about that another time.

You can promote an event as an advertisement directly from your Facebook Page. The event ad will appear on Facebook News Feed.

To promote an event from your Facebook Page:

  1. Go to your Facebook Page and click Events.
  2. Choose the event you wish to promote and click Boost Event.
  3. If your event requires people to purchase tickets in order to attend, choose how you'd like to optimise your ad. You can click Sell Tickets with the Get Tickets call-to-action button or Increase Awareness with the Interested call-to-action button to drive responses on Facebook. If your event does not require tickets, your event ad will default to the Engagement objective with the Interested button.
  4. (Optional) Change the ad creative by choosing the format and clicking either Browse Library or Free Stock Images.
  5. (Optional) Change the text of the ad in the Text field. The event ad automatically populates with the event description.
  6. Choose your audience, duration and budget and add tracking conversions if needed.
  7. Click Boost when you've finished.

Note: Make sure that you created your event on your Facebook Page and not your personal Facebook profile. If you created it on your personal profile, you won't be able to promote it.

Like with other ad images, your event image should contain little to no text. We recommend using an engaging image related to your event instead of an event flyer with text. If you don't have an event image, we recommend choosing one from Free Stock Images while creating your ad.

To advertise an event on Facebook, you must first create a Facebook event. Then, using Ads Manager or your Facebook Page, create an event ad. This post will show you how to make an event ad from your Facebook Page.

How to Use Your Facebook Page to Promote an Event:

Navigate to your Facebook Page and select Promote.

Choose Boost an Event. If this option does not show, make sure you created the event from your Facebook Page, not your personal profile.

Select the event you wish to promote and press the Boost Event button.

Choose your aim in the Goal area if your event is in person and requires tickets. Otherwise, go to step 5.

If you select the Sell Tickets aim, a Get Tickets call-to-action button will display on your ad. If you select the Increase Awareness aim, your ad will display the Interested call-to-action button.

If your event is online and/or does not need tickets, your ad will be optimized for event replies and will have the Interested call-to-action button.

(Optional) Enter text into the Description box to edit the ad's wording. The event description is automatically filled in the field.

(Optional) To modify the ad creative, go to Edit Options and select Choose Image, Choose Video, Upload New, or Crop Image from the dropdown menu.

Choose your target demographic, time, and budget, and then add tracking conversions if necessary.

When you're finished, select Boost Event Now. Your ad appears on the Facebook Feed.

The picture you utilize for your ad creative, like other ad images, should have little to no connected to your event. If you don't have a picture, you may use one of the stock photos text. Instead of an event flyer with words, we propose using an interesting graphic while creating your ad. Click Edit Options > Choose Picture > Stock Images to select a stock image.
