I guess in both good and bad ways.

Amongst the bad - with emails and chats overtaking the office space/time, people are less keen to talk to each other face2face. Surprisingly, with all the emails and chats, people communicate less and less effectively.

The good things are that technology allows people to create more flexible workplaces to accommodate employees. Things like working flexible hours, working remotely, working smart rather than hard. This is partially due to technology, but important to remember that technology is just a tool which can be used wisely or not so much. Most importantly, is the awareness of people and their vision of how technology can be used.
