Constitutions are the backbone of any country’s administration and the judiciary. These are combined sets of principles which are fundamentally developed for the Government as well as the common people so that the Country or the State can be organized. Every country in this world has its constitution, and it is not necessary that all of them are written. There are many countries where the constitutions are written or codified where others have an unwritten constitution or uncodified one.  Presently more than 180 countries in this world have codified constitution, and the constitution of the USA is the oldest among them. 1. USA

It has been already mentioned that the constitution of the USA is the oldest written constitution. All the principles and set of rules were being codified after detailed research and have a flexible flow so that wherever a new set of a rule is necessary, it can be added or amended. The USA has its Fundamental Rights, and it provides full  Independence to its Supreme court and judicial system.

2. USSR

The constitution of USSR is highly flexible and is not at all static. Instead of fundamental principles, it has its fundamental duties and maintains five years changed plans at an interval of every five years. As a result, wherever there are any necessities for improvement, they are being improvised at the end of the 5th year.

3. Ireland

Ireland maintains its constitution through the Directive Principles of the State. There are a set of principles which are mandatory to be followed by both the government and the common people. The Directive Principles were created after the Irish Home Rule movement.

4. UK

The United Kingdom has its own Parliament, and this is the backbone source of the Government rules and policies. Besides, there is a  nominal head who maintains law and order of the government as well.

5. Saudi Arabia

The constitution is not something which is just created as a requirement of some principles. The term fundamental strictly needs to be followed and the socio-economic-cultural aspects play a vital part. Being an Islamic country, Saudi Arabia follows the instructions and messages of their holy book Quran. All the citizens of the country follow it as the chief religion practiced by them is Islam.
