How to Publish your Course on AirTract 31 December, 2019   

        AirTract is a go-to place for anyone who wishes to study, teach or even get expert consultation from anywhere in the world. With its numerous features like Answer Bank, Online Courses, Article section, Live Expert Consultation and more, the possibilities are endless! 

Although there are many such platforms available, AirTract stands out due to its sheer ease-of-use. Most people are of the misconception that uploading courses are a complicated task. Here, I’ll describe the step-by-step process of uploading courses on AirTract.


STEP 1: BECOME AN INSTRUCTOR

After registering on the site, click on ‘Become an Instructor’ from your AirTract Feed. Fill up the form and click on ‘Submit and add a course’.

Congrats! You’re now an instructor on AirTract!

STEP 2: INTRODUCING THE COURSE

After becoming an Instructor, click on ‘Instructor Dashboard’ to provide details regarding the course topics, student requirements, etc.



The dashboard provides an overall view of the course to be uploaded, AirTract course studio, pricing details, etc.




The Instructor who has initiated the course creation is termed as ‘Admin Instructor’.

He can invite other Instructors to be part of the course and divide the profit share among them.

The invited instructor will receive a notification to be part of the course.

STEP 3: CREATING AND UPLOADING COURSE CONTENTS

To start uploading courses, click on the ‘AirTract Course Studio’ tab. You can choose to write a short description of your course. Each course is divided into 3 sections; Introduction, Chapters (including quiz) and Conclusion. The Chapters are further divided into Lectures. A quiz can be added to each chapter, but not each lecture. Each video is limited to a size of 2 GB maximum. Don’t forget to click on save to make sure no data is lost.


STEP 4: PROFIT SHARING, PRICING, AND PROMOTION

The next step is to decide whether to provide your courses for free or for a payment. If you’re providing paid courses, AirTract provides 2 options:

  1. The instructor receives 50% of the profit share

  2. The instructor receives 80% of the profit share, if the sale has occurred through coupons.

The coupon codes will be generated randomly and can be assigned values by the Instructor himself. The minimum course value after applying coupon should be $9. So the coupon discount is set to follow the same.

You can choose whether to join or not in the ‘flash sale’ program, through which AirTract reduces the cost and uses marketing methods to increase the enrollment rate.

STEP 5: SUBMISSION OF THE COURSE

For the final step, click on the ‘Submit for approval’ tab. Provide a well indicative course banner so that anyone who views it can clearly understand what the course is about. It is also a good idea to provide a promotional video to convey the idea of teaching styles, course contents, etc. After categorizing the course and adding relevant tags, click on ‘Submit for approval’. The course will be then reviewed by the team, before actual publishing.
