It’s
time to experience Dubai through the eyes of a child and all the sense of a
toddler. The city is filled with destinations for your tiny little ones looking
for fun and adventure. All the glittering lights and family-friendly
attractions make it the perfect place to explore things to do in Dubai with
toddlers.
Dubai Miracle Garden
Welcome
to the land of flowers where they’ve used amazing agricultural technology to
design a floral garden that is out of a fairytale. Walk through heart-shaped
arches made completely from flower arrangements. Take pictures of the trees and
other structures that they’ve built with the use of more flowers than you’ll
ever see all in one place. The Dubai Miracle Garden lives up to it’s name in
that it truly is a miraculous accomplishment to put together this explosion of
color to build real life replicas of planes and other characters. Take the
little ones on a night tour to see it lit up against the night sky with the
water flowing and pouring out of some of the structures and trees. Your
toddlers will look in amazement at the unicorns, Disney characters, and other
familiar faces that they will see. A great feature of visiting is that many of
the characters change so each time will feel like a brand new experience.
LEGOLAND Dubai
Next on
the list of best things to do in Dubai with toddlers is the infamous LEGOLAND
Dubai. Children ages 2 -12 are welcome here to spend the day having fun with
their favorite building blocks. The park is split up into different zones that
include Waterpark, Adventure, Imagination, Kingdoms and City. The Factory is
where you can shop and buy some souvenirs. As you enter and walk down main
street you’ll see the excitement start to build in your kids’ eyes. Under the
dome, Miniland is waiting for you to enter and witness the incredible replica
of Dubai’s skyline as well as other noteworthy landmarks in the Middle East.
They are all built out of LEGOS and some of them are so large that you can
actually crawl through the structure to explore it at a closer angle. The
Submarine Adventure is one your toddlers must try out. You get into a submarine
like structure that will be submerged in water on the bottom half and on the
top half there will be screens filled with pictures and information about what
lies beneath from marine wildlife. They actually have some LEGO fish in there
as well with the real live fish and sharks.
Magic Planet
Located
inside The Mall of the Emirates is Magic Planet, an indoor playground just for
your kids. This venue has won many awards for entertaining families all around
the UAE, the Middle East, and Africa. Magic Planet entertainment consists of
games, rides and fun-filled attractions. It has the feel of an arcade when you
first walk in but it has so much more to offer. Try out the obstacle course or
the climbing wall so your kids can work on some of their balancing and athletic
skills. There is a designated soft play area for your toddlers if they prefer
to stay in a safer zone. It’s filled with color to keep them engaged while
enhancing their creativity and play skills. This will all help them develop
confidence in themselves and their abilities. The Bubbly Bed is another
attraction that involves cushioned pillows that will have your little ones
bouncing with a safe exterior. What would a toddler area be without a ball
pool? You won’t have to wonder because they have one that will allow your kids
to start their journey to the Gravity experience. The Gravity Air Park is
basically a huge bouncy house that has its own obstacle course, slides, and
much more to enjoy.
Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo
As you
walk through The Dubai Mall with your little ones, you won’t be able to pass
the huge aquarium without wanting to explore it further. The Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo has 10 million liters of water that fill the gigantic tank that
is home to 140 various species and a whooping 30,000 fish. Walk through the
tunnel where the ceiling is glass so you can see the tank and marine life right
above your head swimming around. The Explorer Experience allows you to get on a
boat with a see-through floor so you can also get an up-close glimpse of the
aquatic animals right beneath your feet. Some of the animals your toddlers will
be able to see at the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo are otters, jellyfish,
sharks, and even some crocodiles. Book your tickets to feed the penguins and
watch them play with each other. A trained professional will be there to guide
you and your little kiddos can ask them any questions that may come up.
Dubai Butterfly Garden
In
keeping with tradition, Dubai always seems to outdo itself and keeps breaking
all the records. The Dubai Butterfly Garden is the largest of its kind in the
world and is located in the Dubailand Area. It contains 26 varieties of
butterflies with over 15,000 actually living within the walls of the garden. The
butterflies live under 9 climate controlled domes and each dome has its own
canopy, plants, and structures. Millions of flowers decorate the garden and
outline the domes leaving it filled with color and a wonderful aroma. Your
family will have many opportunities to capture amazing pictures and memories
because you’ll be surrounded by beauty and nature. Your kids will also enjoy
the insect museum that can be found inside.
